Management Team
Richard Thomas - Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer
Richard joined CardPak in 1977, and he purchased controlling interest of the company in 1997. From 1974 to 1977, Richard was employed with Premix Inc. North Kingsville, OH.
He holds bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and English from Denison University, Granville, OH; as well as an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, OH.
Tony Petrelli - President and Chief Operating Officer
Tony joined CardPak in November of 2006. He has more than 25 years of packaging industry experience including prior management and executive roles in sales, marketing, business development and operations with Packaging Corporation of America, Tenneco Packaging and Caraustar Industries. Prior to joining CardPak, Mr. Petrelli was Vice President, Marketing and Business Development , for Caraustar.
Tony currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Paperboard Packaging Council. He was formerly Chairman of the Paperboard Packaging Alliance, as well as a former member of the Marketing Committee of the Recycled Paperboard Alliance (RPA100%).
He holds a BA in Advertising from Texas Tech University.
Gregory A. Tisone -
Vice President,
General Manager
Greg joined CardPak in 2007 as plant manager, with direct responsibilities for plant manufacturing including safety, quality, engineering, lean manufacturing and sustainability. He was promoted to Vice President, General Manager efective March 1, 2008, adding the customer service department to his responsibilites.
Greg has over 20 years experience in plant management with increasing positions of responsibility. Before joining CarkPak, he was General Manger of the Charlotte Carton Plant for Caraustar Industries, Inc., where he had P&L responsibility for that $35 million operation. Other positions with Caraustar included Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager and Operations Manager of the Mentor Carton Plant. Prior to Caraustar, Greg spent 14 years with Avery Dennison in positions including Senior Process Engineer and Solvent Coating Business Unit Manager.
Greg has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University, an MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Gerald M. Lamm -
Chief Financial Officer
Jerry joined CardPak as Controller in October 2007 with leadership experience in financial management, administration, strategic planning and information technology. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in December 2008, adding business planning initiatives including acquisitions, core asset growth and long range strategic planning.
Jerry brings 28 years of financial experience with various manufacturing, technology and injection-molded plastic products.
Jerry has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Akron, and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Youngstown State University. He has passed his CPA exam and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
